Two lives were ruined early Monday morning after 26-year-old Dalone “Smack” Jamison accidentally gunned down his friend in front of a Flatiron District club. Now the victim’s father is out for blood after Jamison posted a photo of the two together immediately following the shooting. “You should’ve been a victim,” said Wally Faussett. “The bullet should’ve ricocheted off something and came back and hit you in the head.”

Faussett’s daughter, 24-year-old Walikque, was shot in the back by Jamison who had been kicked out by bouncers moments before. As Club Motivo closed around 4 a.m. Jamison returned and let off rounds into the crowd, striking Walikque and two other women. Faussett – the single mother to a three-year-old boy – succumbed to her injuries at Bellevue Hospital at approximately 5:21 a.m. The other two women, Deborah Raji, 30, and Lauren Rondat, 25 were listed in stable condition and were later released.

Several witnesses identified Jamison as the shooter, though he attempted to play it off by posting a photo of him and Faussett at another club a couple of weeks prior. “What’s goin on in these streets smh hope lil sis ok I would loose it if not,” he captioned the photo. After receiving multiple death threats in his comments, the ex-con let everyone know he’s “not hiding” from a crime he didn’t commit, but when asked about the death by police the following day (upon his arrest in Brooklyn) he claimed he never meant to shoot her.

Jamison has been charged with murder, two counts of assault and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
